It was smiles all round as our Wonga Park 7XI won against Ainslie Park 5XI at home.

Ainslie Park 5XI set the target, making 8/184 from 36 overs. The visitors were well served by Daniel Wallis, unbeaten on 38. John Ridley made a useful 30 for our opponents. Lloyd Agnew was the pick of our bowlers with two for 3. Charlie Richards offered good support with two for 13.

In reply, the team reached the target at 8/187 in 35 overs. Harry Prewett passed fifty on the way to 50. There were also handy runs from Lloyd Agnew (40).

Credit to the side for holding their nerve in a close finish. It's four wins on the bounce. Onwards and upwards.
