It was a satisfying day for our Wonga Park CC, who secured a win against South Warrandyte at home.
Our bowlers restricted South Warrandyte to 9/171 from 20 overs. Morgan Persson-Clark passed fifty for the visitors, finishing with 74. Joshua White was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 29 off three overs. Lachlan Reynolds finished with two for 15.
In reply, the group reached the target at 4/175 in 15.2 overs. Fifty for Jackson Colledge, who finished with 81 not out off 40 balls. Thomas Hancock brought up a quality half-century, finishing with 50 not out off 26 balls.
A well-deserved win for the side.
An excellent effort from the group.
