There was no joy for our Wonga Park 1XI, who went down to Mooroolbark 1XI despite Toby Ford's 43.
In terms of totals, it was Wonga Park 1XI 8/192 and Mooroolbark 1XI 3/193. Toby Ford top-scored with 43 off 132 balls. Ben White also got among the runs with 35 off 39 balls. Jackson Colledge provided good support with 33. Cheyne van Koll took a five-wicket haul for the visitors, finishing with five for 28.
Joshua White was the pick of the bowlers, taking two for 41 off thirteen overs. Hats off to Jonathon Mummery, whose 109 not out was a classy century for our opponents. Fifty for Kieran Perkins, who made 52 for the visitors.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around.
On to the next one.
