Good news from our Wonga Park 6XI, who had the measure of North Ringwood 5XI in a polished team performance.
In terms of totals, it was Wonga Park 6XI 1/298 and North Ringwood 5XI 9/297. Darren Hawley brought up a brilliant century, finishing with 136 off 111 balls. Wayne Hartley was the star with the bat, compiling a terrific 115 not out off 134 balls with twenty fours.
With the ball, Jordyn Doevelaar did the damage, claiming four for 32 off sixteen overs. Ash Parker added two for 13. Credit to Tom Lyndon, who made a half-century (69) for the hosts. Fifty for Cameron Bellizia, who made 58 not out for our opponents.
The work with the ball set up the win. That's back-to-back wins for the team. Well done, team.
