In RDCA T20 action, our Wonga Park CC fell short against Norwood Senior Men T20 in a disappointing result.
With the bat first up, we compiled 7/153 from 20 overs. Joshua White's 58 not out off 33 balls was a half-century to remember. There were also handy runs from Benjamin Mathews (37).
In reply, Norwood Senior Men T20 passed our total, finishing on 7/156 in 19.4 overs. The best of our opponents' batters was James Menzies with 34. Tyler Parker returned figures of two for 26 off four overs.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
