It was a satisfying day for our Wonga Park CC, who emerged victorious against Chirnside Park CC with a performance to be proud of.
We batted first and put 4/169 on the board from 20 overs. Ben Thompson's 62 off 49 balls was a half-century to remember. There were also handy runs from Daniel Keane (43).
Needing 170, Chirnside Park CC finished on 9/146 from 20 overs. Fifty for Brant Gromadovski, who made 71 for our opponents. Thomas Hancock led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 29.
Contributions came from right through the line-up.
Well played, all.
