Our Wonga Park 7XI had plenty to celebrate after they recorded a win over Heatherdale 5XI with a performance to be proud of.
Batting first, Heatherdale 5XI posted 5/142 from 36 overs. Credit to Aaron Piper, who made a half-century (53) for the visitors.
In reply, the side reached the target at 7/143 in 29.5 overs. Ben Neagle top-scored with 48 off 52 balls. Solid support came from Paul Richards, who made 29. Liam Graham claimed three for 21 for our opponents.
Our bowlers shared the wickets around. That's back-to-back wins for the team.
A superb effort from the group.
