It was a satisfying day for our Wonga Park 7XI, who proved too strong for Ainslie Park 5XI at Kinley Estate Oval on Saturday.
It finished 4/193 to 10/147. David Sykes held Ainslie Park 5XI's innings together with 38. There were 35 from John Ridley for our opponents. With the ball, Lincoln Agnew did the damage, claiming three for 21 off five overs.
Harry Prewett posted a half-century, making 52.
A well-deserved victory for the group. The side have now won three straight. Thanks to the visitors for the contest.
