There were smiles all round after our Wonga Park 6XI proved too strong for South Croydon 4XI in RDCA Seniors Cricket.
South Croydon 4XI's innings ended at 10/97, ours at 7/245. Joel Penaluna's 51 not out was a half-century to remember. Steven Thompson added a useful 41. For the visitors, Adit Chaudhary took three for 28 off thirteen overs.
Paul Doevelaar bowled impressively to finish with four for 18. Credit to Michael Whelan, who made 33 for our opponents.
Our bowlers led the way on the day. Well done to everyone involved.
