It just wasn't our day: our Wonga Park 5XI were unable to stop St Andrews 6XI in RDCA Seniors Cricket action.
St Andrews 6XI batted first and put 5/256 on the board from 36 overs. The hosts' Dwayne Paisley made a good 114.
In reply, we finished on 5/169 from 36 overs. Warren Atkinson was still there at the end on 42. Gary Flewker-Barker weighed in with 36. Richard Gates played a handy knock of 31.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
A tough stretch, and one the side will be determined to end. Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
