It wasn't to be for our Wonga Park 5XI, who went down against Ainslie Park 4XI in a tough outing.
Ainslie Park 4XI set the target, making 6/250 from 36 overs. Credit to Coby Arbuckle, who made a century (114) for our opponents. Andrew Johnstone added a handy 41 for the visitors. Warren Ashby starred with the ball, taking three for 17.
In reply, we finished on 7/89 from 36 overs. Matthew Gates led the way with 26 off 63 balls with two fours.
