It wasn't to be for our Wonga Park 4XI, who were denied by Norwood 4XI.
With the bat, we made 8/287; Norwood 4XI made 9/288. Ryan Atkinson posted a half-century, making 95 with seventeen fours. Craig Ballingall made a cracking 65, a well-made fifty. A five-wicket haul to Harpreet Grewal for the visitors (five for 61).
William Edmonds returned figures of two for 26 off seven overs. Private player made a classy 52 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century.
There were some quality individual efforts to build on. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
