On Saturday at Oval 1 - South, our Wonga Park 4XI were downed by Mooroolbark 3XI on a day that didn't go our way.
Mooroolbark 3XI made 4/221, and we made 175. Justin White's 41 off 67 balls was the highlight with the bat. Tyler Dahan did the damage for the hosts with three for 21.
Our best with the ball was Joshua Myers, who took two for 47. Brad Condick backed up well, taking two for 53. Fifty for Darryn Fisk, who made 55 not out for our opponents. John O’Donnell added 46 for the hosts.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. A tough stretch, and one the team will be determined to end.
Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
