There was no joy for our Wonga Park 3XI, who fell to St Andrews 3XI with lessons to take away.
Batting first, St Andrews 3XI posted 7/189 from 40 overs. Credit to Joel Wells, who made a half-century (67) for our opponents. Cooper kanally returned figures of two for 22 off eight overs.
In reply, the group were all out for 153 in 37.2 overs. Mason Agnew's 55 was a half-century to remember. The hosts' best with the ball was Campbell Pitman (four for 30). Zac Wilson chipped in with three for 32 for our opponents.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
