It was a disappointing outing for our Wonga Park 3XI, who lost out to Norwood 3XI in one to put behind us.
After batting first, we finished on 8/228 from 35 overs. A classy 69 from William Hartley was the highlight. Bailey Mullens added a useful 37. Credit to Tim Baulch, who took three for 19 for Norwood 3XI.
The visitors reached the target at 5/232 in 34.1 overs. David Irvine passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 72. Hunter Weeks was the pick of our bowlers with two for 38.
Plenty to take out of this one.
A tough stretch, and one the team will be determined to end. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
