It just wasn't our day: our Wonga Park 2XI fell to Eastfield 1XI at Templestowe Reserve - Oval #2 in RDCA Seniors Cricket.
We batted first and put 100 on the board from 30 overs. Blake Kear top-scored with 34. Lachlan McBain played a handy knock of 22. Matthew Barnard bowled well for Eastfield 1XI, taking four for 20.
Our opponents reached the target at 4/103 in 22.3 overs. Hunter Weeks grabbed two for 29.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
