Our Wonga Park 1XI side won against Kilsyth 1XI by 53 runs at Alan Smith Oval.
We batted first and put 6/222 on the board from 40 overs. Jackson Ford passed fifty on the way to 87 off 95 balls with seven fours. Daniel Keane contributed 36 off 50 balls.
Kilsyth 1XI were all out for 169 in 36.1 overs in reply. Credit to Private player, who made a half-century (60) for the hosts. Benjamin Mathews was the pick of our bowlers with four for 30. Ben White claimed two for 20 as well.
Our bowlers shared the wickets around.
That makes up for our loss to our opponents earlier in the season. A day to enjoy for everyone at Wonga Park.
