It just wasn't our day: our Wonga Park 1st XI fell to Knox City Senior Women Tigress Yellow in RDCA Womens.
We batted first and finished with 10/105 on the board from 29 overs. A classy 50 not out off 11 balls from Mackenzie Adams was the highlight.
In reply, Knox City Senior Women Tigress Yellow passed our total, finishing on 2/109 in 19 overs. Private player top-scored for our opponents with 45.
There were some quality individual efforts to build on.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
